Eye of the Illuminati

A Multi-Part Cache by Team Lead Pipe

Concept:

The goal of this cache was to create the first epic 'story' cache in Cincinnati. The idea being that the infamous world conspirators, the Illuminati, had planned an attack. In order to stop them, their container filled with goods must be found and the items inside exchanged, while leaving the Illuminati unaware. Finding this container is not a simple matter, as the Illuminati likes to keep their things as secret as possible. Several hidden markers were spread around the East Fork region, each marker leading to the next, until the final one reveals a code to crack the secret of the location of the container. After much work and calculating, this cache was launched and has been quite a success.

5 gallon plastic paint bucket, painted in camouflage green, tied to a tree and hidden under a pile of branches and driftwood.

Hints:

Read this scroller carefully for hints: A turtle will speak of the path best traveled. Watch out for bug. Thorns may prick, but a pipe shall throw them off. The shortest distance between two points is a line. Ignore the last two clues, as they mean nothing... or do they?
